Students: 11th-12th
Nearing high school completion and college entry, services available to you through Educational Talent Search will intensify. You will be taking college entrance exams, narrowing your college and career choices, competing for scholarships, and contending with numerous application requirements and deadlines. As a result you will be assigned an academic counselor who will personally guide and support you with important information and assistance. Through your involvement in Educational Talent Search, you will:
- Be assigned a personal academic counselor for customized assistance to you and your parents or guardians
- Get invited to participate in summer activities
- Explore a variety of college preparatory topics at monthly workshops held at your school
- Participate in program sponsored campus visits to area colleges and universities
- Attend Campus Day to be held on the University of Arkansas campus
- Qualify for payment of registration fees for the ACT – college entrance examination
- Have the opportunity to participate in ACT prep or to access, on loan, Kaplan books and software on ACT preparation
- Receive admission fee waivers to most colleges and universities
- Utilize the expertise of your ETS counselor in college planning
- Request information on colleges and careers, which we will research and mail to your home
- Receive college and scholarship application assistance and recommendation letters upon request
- Graduate from high school and begin your exciting college journey
